7 Days Machame Route Kilimanjaro Trekking

Tour Overview

Duration: 7 Days / 6 Nights on the Mountain | Accommodation: Tented Camps

The Machame Route, also known as the “Whiskey” route, is one of the most scenic and popular routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. Unlike the Marangu Route, climbers sleep in tents, and meals are served in a dining tent or picnic-style outdoors. This route offers a gradual ascent, making acclimatization easier and increasing the chances of a successful summit.

Best for:

  • Physically fit hikers with some trekking experience
  • Those looking for a scenic and adventurous route
  • Climbers who prefer camping instead of huts
