Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your driver meets you and transfers you to your Arusha hotel. In the evening, a detailed briefing about your safari ahead.

After an early breakfast, drive south to Tarangire National Park. Spend a full day exploring this underrated gem — famous for its enormous elephant herds (the largest concentration in the world), ancient baobab trees, and excellent predator sightings.

Morning game drive in Tarangire before driving to Lake Manyara. Enjoy a game drive with chances of seeing tree-climbing lions and flamingos before driving up to the Ngorongoro crater rim for the night.

A full day in the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend at dawn and spend the entire day exploring this natural wonder — the world's largest intact caldera. With over 20,000 animals and Tanzania's rare black rhinos, every hour brings something new.

Drive to the southern Serengeti and the Ndutu area. This is the heart of the calving grounds (Jan–March) and the starting point of the Great Migration northward. Afternoon game drive on the short-grass plains.

Full day in central Serengeti — the best year-round area for lion, leopard, and cheetah. Seronera River attracts enormous concentrations of wildlife. Two game drives with a picnic lunch.

Explore the green western corridor and Grumeti River area. Large hippo pools, enormous crocodiles, and the drama of the river crossing (July–August). Beautiful woodland scenery and different wildlife.

Drive north to the Mara River area — where the famous Mara River crossings happen from August to October as 1.5 million wildebeest brave crocodile-infested waters. Excellent big cat country year-round.

Final morning game drive before the long drive back to Arusha. Arrive in time for your onward flight or Zanzibar beach extension.

The dramatic Mara River crossings happen from July to October when the wildebeest move north. However, the migration is present in the Serengeti year-round.
Absolutely — we recommend adding 3–5 days in Zanzibar after the safari for a perfect beach extension.
