The ultimate Kenya safari — this comprehensive circuit visits three of Kenya's greatest reserves, each offering a completely different wildlife experience. Begin in Amboseli beneath the shadow of Kilimanjaro, continue through the flamingo-rich Rift Valley lakes, and end in the celebrated Masai Mara. All our safaris are offered as private trips, starting on any day.
Depart Nairobi early morning for Amboseli National Park (approximately 4 hours). Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, then enjoy an afternoon game drive across the open Amboseli basin with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Amboseli is one of Africa's most photographed parks — herds of free-ranging elephants with Africa's highest peak as a backdrop. The park's swamps fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro create unique wetland habitats rich in birdlife.

Accommodation options: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge | Ol Tukai Lodge | Tortilis Camp
A full day in Amboseli. Early morning drive at sunrise — the best time to photograph elephants against the backdrop of snow-capped Kilimanjaro before cloud cover builds. Return for breakfast, then head to the Enkongo Narok swamp where hippos, buffalo, and water birds gather.
Amboseli's elephants are among the most studied in the world — many individuals are known by name and can be closely observed from your vehicle. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals are also resident.

After breakfast, drive north through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 5–6 hours). Arrive for a late-afternoon game drive along the lake shores.
Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake renowned for its flamingo flocks — in peak season hundreds of thousands of lesser and greater flamingos turn the lake shores pink. The park is also a sanctuary for both white and black rhino, and is home to lions, leopards, Rothschild's giraffe, and baboon troops.

Spend the full day exploring Lake Nakuru National Park. Morning drives are best for rhino tracking in the acacia woodlands along the southern shore. Afternoon drives take you to the lake viewpoints where the flamingo spectacle is most dramatic.
Lake Nakuru is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of the Great Rift Valley lakes system. Baboon Cliff viewpoint offers a panoramic view over the entire lake — a perfect photography stop.

After breakfast, drive west to the Masai Mara National Reserve (approximately 3–4 hours through the Rift Valley). Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive across the open Mara plains.
The Masai Mara forms the northern extension of Tanzania's Serengeti ecosystem. The two parks share the same landscape and wildlife — and the wildebeest migration moves freely between them. The Mara is renowned for its year-round big-cat density.

Accommodation options: Mara Serena Safari Lodge | Angama Mara | Mahali Mzuri
A full day in the Masai Mara — the highlight of the entire circuit. Two full game drives: an early morning drive tracking lions and leopards, and an afternoon drive to the Mara River for wildebeest crossings (July–October) or Big Five tracking year-round.
The Mara's cheetah population is one of the densest in Africa — open plains make them highly visible. Elephant herds, buffalo, hippo pools, and over 450 bird species round out an extraordinary day in the bush.
